| After college Matt began an exciting career as a documentary photographer for an international relief organization. Fast forward 10 years later and he’s traveled all over the developing world—from tsunami sites to conflict zones to missionary hospitals- with the job of documenting human need and Christian compassion. This work continues to impact Matt’s life in ways that are inexplicable and gives him a broad base of photography experience from which to draw on. As his experience grows, so does his thirst for more of life, and more photography. And that's where weddings come into the picture. As a proud husband and father to three girls, Matt considers it a blessing to capture the moments in people’s lives that will be treasured for a lifetime- its' what he always loved first about photography, and it still motivates him to this day. Not to mention he's pretty good at it. "When it comes to weddings my objective is to tell the story of your day, capturing moments as they actually unfold, with creativity and light-heartedness. I look to create timeless, emotionally-charged images, as much a work of art as a record of events." |
